Paul Dotson - Paralegal

Paul and his wife, Shelley, grew up in Hastings, Minnesota, and are raising their three kids there. After careers as a college professor and a general contractor, Paul turned to the legal field in 2010. His first experience was in employment law with the St. Paul-based non-profit organization Gender Justice, where he worked to ensure both men and women received just compensation for suffering gender discrimination and sexual assaults in the workplace. He then was a member of The Honorable Judge Tim Wermager’s staff, at Dakota County in the First Judicial District of the State of Minnesota.

Paul’s personal interests include cycling, cross-country skiing, and everything about airplanes. At J D Haas and Associates, Paul works principally in the area of bankruptcy law.
