
Tara is an associate attorney with JD Haas and Associates, PLLC. She is admitted to the Minnesota Bar and practices in the areas of Bankruptcy, Debt Resolution, Family Law, and Estate Planning and Tax Law.
Tara received her undergraduate degree from Hamline University, graduating summa cum laude with a major in Psychology and a minor in Management. Tara received her Juris Doctor, also summa cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law in May of 2011.
While in law school, Tara gained valuable experience while working as a compliance department intern for UCare, as a judicial intern for Judge Richard Perkins, and as a certified student attorney for the Hamline School of Law Housing Clinic. Tara also worked as a research assistant for two different professors, as an associate and associate editor on the Hamline Law Review, and as a Structured Study Group Leader for Civil Procedure. Prior to law school, Tara gained exposure to the judicial system while volunteering for WATCH as a court monitor for cases involving domestic violence and sexual assault.
Tara knows that every client faces a unique situation and is committed to helping provide them with expert legal advice. During her free time, Tara enjoys reading, walking outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
